One of the more, um, creative things we’ve been asked to do in a while. This customer asked us to get this RPK bipod mounted on his AR. He didn’t give us much in the way of a why, but I think I can guess especially with the popularity of certain lower receiver accessories. What do you guys think?

How about a custom PNW flash hider we made up for the AP53? Great flash suppression without a can and keeps the overall length down when used with the Infinity suppressor. This combo really tames the muzzle blast and makes this gun pleasurable to shoot!

Since Beretta has been a little behind the 8-ball we’re picking up the slack. Full size 92 flat mainspring caps should be up on the site around the middle/end of next week.

Has anyone ever wondered how a squibbed & bulged barrel is removed from a pistol that requires the slide to be retracted for disassembly? Well this is it. This CZ70 barrel was swelled from a squib freezing the slide in place. We zeroed the Z axis of the bore and bored it out to within about .010 of the barrel diameter. After that, all you have to do is give the slide a brisk Yank over the remnants of the bump and disassemble as usual. After that, the pistol gets a good cleaning and a new barrel.

Just finished this custom upper for a customer up in Vermont. The barrel started out as a 14 inch pistol gas .300BLK with a .800 diameter. We cut it down to about 12.5 inches, re-profiled the front few inches for a .750 KAC style gas block. The block had the nose re-profiled for the correct AE 20° taper and it was secured with a set screw at the 6 o’clock. The muzzle break was timed during machining with no shims and as you can see, the resulting Gun is a pretty sweet looking mini Mk12-ish rifle. Paired with AEM5–30, it’s also quiet and quite pleasant to shoot.

We’re very pleased to see some forward motion on this. Getting the guns off the street is of course our first priority, but hopefully seeing the people who committed there robberies being charged will give others contemplating similar crimes pause.

Too often, the age of the perpetrators is as an excuse for leniency by the courts and for lesser crimes, sometimes justified. In this case however, they use stolen fi****ms to shoot their way into multiple businesses with complete disregard for public safety. They destroyed tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars in property, stole then directly funneled onto the street, hundreds of fi****ms.

This is far beyond “dumb kid mistakes” and clearly demonstrated a complete disregard for our society as a whole. As such, it definitely deserves more than an ankle bracelet and a “now you stay home and be good“. We are very hopeful that the DA and PA Attorney General agree and we look forward with cautious optimism to seeing justice truly served.

A 19-year-old and several juveniles are facing charges in connection with a year-long investigation into stolen guns.

We’ve done a few of these, but always forget to take a picture somehow. The coolest part about using the gr***de attachment point is it allows the color to be adjustable for use with an A or B mount can. Pretty cool!
