I was super stoked to meet today at the Steel City Con! I got a signature and markup on Issue 3 which is my favorite cover art of the original TMNT books. The VW bus is peak turtles in my opinion. Such a cool day! The turtles have been so important to me for such a long time and getting to meet Kevin was awesome. He's a creator that seems to have a strong appreciation and love for his fans. I am thankful that he signs as many autographs as he does and that he goes to as many cons as he does. I was glad to see so many young turtles fans in attendance getting to make these memories around this fandom. Cowabunga!

We were set up at the Butler Area Toy Show today! It was such a sick event! We saw a ton of cool folks- and so many toys! Great to see .collectibles ! After the event we had to celebrate with some Butler Hot Dog Shoppe Dogs! Thanks to everyone for the help and support in introducing me to the toy scene here. Also thanks for everyone who's picked up some toys! It's been awesome!

Last week while scrolling Facebook Marketplace I came across a listing for some Food Fighters that I immediately jumped on. I've always held off on picking any up for my collection because of how often pieces are missing and how easy it is to damage the paint on the figures. This collection looked well cared for so I didn't hesitate. No variants but a near complete base collection! I need the gun for Sergeant Scoop (ice cream) and the black control panel and underside of the Fry Chopper (helicopter). It's so awesome to add nearly a complete line at one time!

I have been quiet on the ToyShop instagram for a little while. I have been riding that complex high of the cardboard crack! Any Magic the Gathering fans will completely understand. I haven't played Magic in roughly 8 years. After a delightful afternoon draft at a friend's house I said to myself, 'I have got to get some basic lands to use for drafts!' A couple months later I've played in a few events and have a Modern deck! I'm playing a Tier 2 deck- but I own one! Any Magic the Gathering fans in my instagram community??

An overdue thank you to for the Hideous Hovercraft trade! It was good to meet you and talk toys! I also added some nice Star Wars figures to my shelf but the Hovercraft is the real show stopper! I snapped this photo but still need to figure out how to work it into the display cabinet!

I have added Creature Leo MOC to my collection- completing all of series one and two Universal Monsters TMNT! It feels good to be able to close the door on this chapter of my collection. These figures are highly collectible and expensive! They look awesome, blending the dark, gritty world of TMNT with the dark, macabre characters of the Universal Monsters! I'm happy to have some of these as MOC figures because of the pulpy card art. When I get the whole collection set up in a satisfying way I'll post an updated collection photo! Maybe closer to Halloween?🤔

Today I changed the weapons for Raph as the Mummy to red and Don as Dracula to purple! I can finally check off the original Universal Monsters line loose complete with the weapon colors coordinated to their bandanas!

Another huge addition to the Universal Monsters Series 2 that I'm collecting! I collected the Universal Monsters Series 1 loose because I prefer them that way, but for the higher price figures I'd rather just buy them MOC. There's such a minor difference in cost that there's not enough incentive to buy them loose. I've been considering picking up the first series MOC when I complete both runs! Anyone else have a similar story?
