I am looking for an individual in the Repair and maintenance field that wants more than a Job, someone who is Skilled, Driven, Honest and Dependable with Christian values.
Experience and tools are needed. Experience with shop management would be a plus.
This person must be able to operate a repair shop professionally, interacting with myself, Customers, parts suppliers and other employees. This person must be driven, motivated, particular and eager to excel in what they do and not afraid of responsibility. This person will be responsible for their purchasing, negotiating, making smart decisions, and will be held accountable for what they say and do and how they do it.
Legible hand writing, great communication skills, organization, common sense, good work ethic, and efficiency is a must.
I have most of the tools and equipment needed, plenty of work, just lacking the right individual who wants to be a team player, while growing themselves and making an honest living doing various types of repair maintenance and builds of heavy trucks and equipment. Some automotive and even small engines work will be performed at times.
From quoting, diagnosing, scheduling, locating and pricing parts, writing purchase orders, performing disassembly, inspection, repair, reassembly, final checks, tracking parts and time to writing work orders and turning in a complete “job sheet”, delivering and explaining to customers the details and at times collecting making payment arrangements.
Someone who puts things back where they were in a same or better condition, who thinks ahead and make things better and is able to get creative, overcome and adapt, roll with it. Someone who likes variety will excel in this position.
Experience with Industrial equipment, Automotive, Construction equipment, Farm Equipment, Heavy and medium duty trucks, engines and components, truck driving and operating machines and equipment will all be a plus.
Compensation will be totally on a per individual basis, if you are an exceptional individual who performs the same you will be compensated likewise.
If you are a minimum type person, go get a minimum wage job, please do not waste my time.
I am open to hourly, hourly base with a percentage of profits, or a split percentage of everything the “shop” does.
This position is for someone who is comfortable with being compensated based primarily on performance. This is not a position for anyone who wants an easy sit around, “milk the clock” job. However we still want to maintain a pleasant, positive environment that is family oriented, hours are flexible the more that gets done and done right the first time, the more flexible they will be.
I will entertain partial ownership eventually to the right person.
