LONG POST ALERT:

As you guys know we’ve been going through a crazy time between delays of the construction of our new building and working through the theft of our storage unit…

We just received another update that the opening of our shop opening will be delayed AGAIN due to additional construction and inspections that need to be done. As much as we want to make SDC happen, we feel it is in the best interest for both the integrity of SDC and our shop to cancel this year’s series for the Norcal Bay Area region.

We feel horrible for letting you guys down, but trust us when we say we have done everything we possibly could to open as fast as possible. We promise we will only come back even stronger next year.

If you wish to compete please register on the SDC website for either the region or head on over and check out ‘s new facility!

We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding throughout these hectic times and can’t wait to slide with you once we open!

We appreciate everyone's patience as we transition into our new location!

To catch you all up to speed:

ONLINE ORDERS:
- Orders that were placed during our move and were on hold have just been packed and will be dropped off at USPS first thing tomorrow (4/19). Please check your email for messages from both USPS and our website that have the tracking number provided.

THE NEW BUILDING:
- Unfortunately, we are STILL experiencing delays with the contractors working on our building. We have been checking on the location weekly to see the progress and as of last weekend we would say it's about 65-75% of the way complete with the lighting, electrical outlets, bathroom and P-tile that still needs to be installed. We are are in constant communication with our property manager but as of right now they are saying we should be able to move in by the end of April.

SDC NORCAL:
- SDC Round 1 that was originally anticipated for April 25 is (for now) scheduled May 16.
- This means that as of right now there are only 4 rounds of SDC Norcal and they are set for the following dates:

ROUND 1 - MAY 16* (Tentative)
ROUND 2 - JUNE 6
ROUND 3 - JULY 25
ROUND 4 REGIONAL FINALS - AUGUST 15

- Super-G R/C Drift Arena has been very flexible with our situation and as long as you compete in 2 out of the 4 rounds, you may compete in Worlds.

Trust us when we say we are just as eager as you to get to sliding again. We will make sure to provide any major updates as soon as we can! Thank you all for your patience and we can't wait to slide with everyone again soon!

Drift For A Cause was a huge success and we managed to raise over $1000 to purchase toys and healthcare essentials to donate to Love—A-Child Missions Homeless Recovery Shelter.

In partnership with and we wanted to bring it back to the car show/car shop tandem vibes by hosting this event at the ADP facility just down the street from the Pittstop!

Entry is $50 a driver or $25 plus $15 value of toys or health essentials.
Tires and food provided.

All donations will be given to Love-A-Child Missions Homeless Recovery Shelter in Bay Point.

This will be a two part event and you are NOT REQUIRED to participate in both.

Part 1: Team Tandem
Part 2: Drift King Shootout (Random Bracket)
