UAB summer band! 5 rehearsals in June then performance July 4. Everyone welcome!

Want to try out one of Birmingham’s community bands? With only 5 rehearsals - it’s a great way to see what community band life is like, play some fun music and meeting new friends!

From the Director:
The UAB Summer Band is a community group comprised of adult amateur and professional musicians from the metropolitan Birmingham area. The band rehearses on Monday nights throughout June and performs an annual July 4th concert on UAB's campus.

REHEARSAL

We will once again perform on July 4. With the ongoing construction at Bartow Arena, we are moving this year’s concert to the UAB Green. Come join us this summer for fantastic music-making. Open to Birmingham area community band members, college students from any school, and upper-division high school musicians!

We will rehearse Mondays from 6 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. starting on Monday June 1, through the Fourth of July. Dates are listed below. If you have a chance, please RSVP via the link below, if you are planning on joining us. It will help us to plan for the concert and rehearsals. I look forward to seeing you all on June 1st.
