Dear Kratom Supporters:
I cannot tell you how proud I am of each and every one of you and I want to thank you for all your support these last two years. You truly are “warriors” – and the "kratom warriors" are getting noticed. But I just finished a call with our Washington D.C. lobbying team...
They gave me an update on how Big PhRMA has unleashed their attack dogs on us in key states and they don’t seem to be slowing down. The lobbying team confirmed that anti-kratom legislation has now been filed in Florida, New York, Oregon and Utah.
I have had a pit in my stomach since this call – and I knew I had to sit down and write this letter to you.
Just look at what a Florida Representative called us.
The sponsor of a bill in Florida shockingly accused supporters of kratom as being “just like HITLER.” This person went even further saying that kratom advocates who went to Tallahassee to express their first amendment rights opposing the bill were “addicts with glassy eyes and shaky hands.”
I know this attack sounds completely crazy, but this is the type of misinformation we must correct.
We must stand strong, and that is why I am writing to you today.
If the opponents of kratom win in any of these states, it will open the floodgates for kratom-haters in every state in America to go after us. But we can win on the science. We have shown that in our battle with the DEA when they wanted to criminalize kratom users last August.
I desperately need your help today to help fund our truth squads in New York, Florida, Oregon and Utah.
