It’s Make It Bloom Monday! ✌️

Here are a few of our favorites from the end of last week… I wanted to share because these flowers all deserved their moment. 💐🧡

A new week is here, and I’m ready to see what it brings! New opportunities, new blooms, new ideas… and whatever little surprises God decides to put in my path.

We may not know exactly what’s coming, but we know Who’s already there. 🧡

I’m ready to show up, do what I love, love what I do, trust the process, and Make It Bloom! 💐

Hey Flower Friends ✌️🧡💐

I wanted to share a fun recap from convention! Scholarship Competition! 🧡

This year’s three categories:

✌️ Wicked Party — Arrangement
🧡 Gala Glamour — Flowers to Wear
💐 Flower Girl Fun — Wedding

Even though I may not have won overall, I received Top in the Wedding Category for my flower girl bouquet! 💛

I don't have a competitive bone in my body, but I LOVE competing! Every competition gives me an opportunity to learn something new… whether it’s from creating my own pieces or walking around and seeing what everyone else created once we display our designs.

Any opportunity I get to learn more about what I love, I’m taking it.

And I absolutely love cheering everyone on along the way! Probably my favorite part! 🧡

I’ve been thankful to be back in the design space this week, putting the new knowledge to work, creating and getting things ready for fall. 🧡💐

Hey Flower Friends! ✌️🧡💐

This year’s Arkansas Florist Convention was special to me for so many reasons, but being asked to take care of the lobby flowers was an absolute honor.

A BIG thank you to the Arkansas Florist Association and Pam McMillan for trusting me with the opportunity. It meant so much to have my work be part of a convention and an industry I love so much.

And a special shoutout to my cousin Ashlie for all of her help with the install! I couldn’t have done it without you. Absolute Best Ever Sis! 🧡

However... because this is the flower business, some days things just don’t go as planned... and that’s where it gets interesting. ✌️

The tall arrangement on the mantle decided to take a tumble, and when I got that call, I was devastated. I called my friend Jennifer, and she knew exactly what to do. Before anyone had a chance to blink, she had it fixed and ready to go.

So thankful for Flower Family. 🧡

That’s what I love about this industry. When something unexpected happens, there’s always someone willing to jump in and lend a hand.

Most of all, I’m thankful to God for opening doors I never could have opened on my own and allowing me to be right where I’m supposed to be.

AFA, thank you for an absolutely beautiful weekend from start to finish. From one end of the hotel to the other, there was so much beauty, creativity and hard work on display. I’m grateful I got to be a small part of it.

And now… y’all better mark your calendars for the 75th Annual Arkansas Florist Convention! I can’t wait to see what we create together. I have a feeling it’s going to be something pretty special. 🧡

Hey Flower Friends ✌️🧡💐

Let’s talk about it on this beautiful Tuesday!

The Arkansas Florist Convention was PACKED with amazing Design Shows, and these designers showed up & showed out! They shared their knowledge, experience, creativity… and of course, a little bit of chaos! ✌️

We went from designing to making Reels .... and SO much more!

Hey Flower Friends! 🧡

Let’s start sharing some of the fun from Convention! And I think it’s only fitting that we start with the Masters in Bloom runway show from Friday Evening.

This runway show was put together by current and past graduates of the Arkansas Master Florist and Advanced Arkansas Master Florist Classes.

I had the honor of being part of this amazing runway show, and y’all… the talent was INCREDIBLE! So many wonderful, talented floral designers came together and brought their own creativity and vision to the runway. It was so much fun watching it all come together!

This was one of the sets that Max and I modeled, and it was such a fun one to put together. I reused things I already had around the design space… even cardboard to create the top hats!

I had these beautiful peacock feathers that had been given to me by a customer, and I had been holding onto them, just waiting for the right project. I knew they were going to be the perfect accent for this one. They gave each piece the dramatic flair I was going for!

I used them throughout the top hats, Max’s staff and the purse, which I made from a suet bird feeder. Then I added burgundy cymbidium orchids and foxtail fern to bring everything together. I even tucked twinkle lights into my purse and Max’s top hat, which added the cutest little touch! 🧡

This whole experience was such a reminder of why I love what I do. Taking things I already have, getting creative, and turning them into something completely different is one of my favorite parts of floral design.

And getting to do it alongside so many wonderful, talented floral designers made it even better. 🧡

A HUGE thank you to Jay Morris & Kay Schlaefli for putting together such an incredible opportunity for all of us to be a part of!

It’s Convention Day! 🎉💐

Today is the first day of the 74th Annual Arkansas Florists Association Convention, and this morning I’ll be competing in the Scholarship Competition!

Because of that, I’ll be unavailable for orders and won’t be able to answer my phone until after the competition. If y’all need me, please text me, and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. 🧡

I’m excited, a little nervous, and very thankful for this opportunity. God is so good, y’all! 🙏💐

It’s going to be a beautiful day! 💐

I’m making morning deliveries today, and then I’ll be stepping away this afternoon through the weekend for the 74th Annual Arkansas Florists Association Convention.

Tomorrow morning, I’ll be unavailable because I’ll be competing in the Scholarship Competition at Convention! 💐✌️

I’m feeling extra thankful this morning. God is so good, and I’m grateful for the opportunities He continues to place in front of me. 🧡

I’m looking forward to a weekend filled with education, inspiration, and time with my Flower Family! 💐

I’ll be back after the weekend, but I’m still taking orders for when I return! Feel free to call or text anytime. 🧡
