2nd Annual Magnolia State Tackle Show
Off-the-Street Appraisals and Auction
One of the highlights of the 2nd Annual Magnolia State Tackle Show was the off-the-street tackle appraisals and auction activity throughout the weekend. Several attendees brought in vintage tackle, lures, and collections to be identified and evaluated by experienced NFLCC members and appraisers.
Gibby Gibson, one of our expert appraisers, spent time explaining how vintage lures are identified and valued, helping attendees better understand the history and worth of the tackle they brought in. After each appraisal, owners could decide whether to keep their items or place them into the live floor auction.
Several groups of lures and vintage tackle were brought in during the show, with one auction being held on the floor.
One notable group included lures made by Dr. Henry Holleman of Mississippi. These lures were auctioned alongside several Bagley Bait Company lures and a couple of tackle boxes full of vintage fishing tackle. The auction drew strong interest from collectors and added another exciting part to a very successful weekend show.
Special thanks to everyone who brought tackle in for appraisal and auction. Your participation helped make the show both educational and enjoyable for collectors and attendees alike.
