Well I still can't tune a fish, but I can kinda tune a piano!! I started way in over my head when my friend messaged me about this piano sitting outside his neighbors house waiting for bulk trash. I thought, well how hard can it be to tune a piano, haha little did I know! Turns out there's over 200 strings you have to tune and not only do they have to be specific pitches, they also have to blend together perfectly, which is why I imagine people can go to school for somewhere around 6 years to become a professional piano tuner 😅 I've still gotta retune it but honestly I'm so proud with how it already turned out! The last two videos are before and after I tuned it! Somehow I think I did more help than harm

Finally finished our first ever body from scratch! The face is made from some stunning leopard wood, and the rest of the body is was a solid piece of white limba. We ended up outsourcing the neck on this build, and most of the electronics and additional parts came from Amazon. This beautiful Telecaster was made personally by the master builder himself, Rob! The latest part of our expedition as Robby’s Guitars is creating instruments from the bottom up. We started simply by creating guitars from the kits, such as the fretless 6 string bass, and the double-neck Tele, but now we’ve not only mastered the process of making Whamolas, we’re deep into our first actual completely handmade guitar build! If you need a custom guitar (both left or right handed) if you want to know what the hell a Whamola is, or if you need anything else in between, just send us a message! What started as an experiment on Facebook Marketplace turned into an entire new side of our hobby, which is making broken instruments play again. To us, there’s nothing better than learning about the history of the instrument, the person who played it, the technique of how it was made through the years, all of it and more can be discovered when servicing the instrument. From sitars, to violins, to even Omnichords, we’ve fixed them and we would love to turn something that would otherwise be garbage and make it beautiful again! If you have a broken instrument just message us! We’re interested in instruments!
