Phire's Stones News and events for fine Jewelry. Welcome to Phire's Stones! A collection of mostly one-of-a-kind handmade fine jewlery and accessories. I do commissions as well.

I personally design and fabricate every piece. Components are either fabricated by me or hand selected by me. For over 30 years I have crafted various items for friends and family. I semi-retired in 2010 and by the end of 2011 decided I want to take my creations to a larger audience. Most pieces offered are silver plate or gold filled but they are available in solid silver or solid gold. All price

s are for plated/filled components unless otherwise stated. Solid precious metals increases the price considerably. Have something in mind and cannot find it? Please look around and let me know what you think!

So some of you know I have been arguing with cutting wine bottles cleanly. Scoring the bottle is easy and working just fine. But getting a clean break has been a real bother. So thanks to Craig's List, I scored and virtually brand new wet tile saw for $25 US today. Complete with diamond blade worth $27. And here is my fisrt clean cut bottle - first try!!!

A Tale of some Crystals
Quartz Crystals found within 100 yards of each other. Lying on the surface in a wash created by a culvert running underneath the roadway. I followed the wash bed and only collected what was visible without scraping or digging. Wonderful way to collect shiny things.
