Had our second tournament of the year last weekend, not bad for Saguaro in February. Havasu is up next on March 14th, reminder to get your forms in and paid for the Sunday evening (March 8) prior to the tournament.

Happy New Year anglers !!!

Last weekend we had our first tournament of the year. Great weather for the opening day at Canyon, looking forward to another year of having fun and making memories.

Congrats to our winners, clearly there are fish to be caught in one of the toughest lakes in the winter. Had a few teams with good bags, most of the rest of us struggled with the fishing but enjoyed the weather and just being on the water. Results listed below.

If you're on the fence or don't know where to start tournament fishing, Roostertales Bass Club might be your answer. We are a family friendly, non-professional fishing club hitting most of the local lakes, along with Havasu and Alamo this year. All-in for the tournaments is $125 per team, yes this is a team based club. Annual membership fee is $75 per angler, which helps cover permit and insurance costs for the club. We fish 11 tournaments with our year-end party held in December at Dillons BBQ @ Lake Pleasant.

We had our first 2024 Roostertales Bass Club tournament at Roosevelt Lake today. We had 31 boats participate and paid down five places. We were fortunate to have good weather. We would like to give a big shut out to all of the members that stepped up today to make this tournament go smoothly. We appreciate everybody's efforts!
We are looking forward to a great year!!

Our new season Tournament schedule is set.
Anyone interested in joining is urged to come to the first meeting of the Month on Monday January 15th at 6:00 PM located at Sportsman's Warehouse on US 60 and Greenfield in the meeting room upstairs at the front of the store. Our first Tournament is being held at Roosevelt Lake on Jan. 20th 2024. Remember that this is a fishing club, 2 person team, no professionals need apply. Please bring your paperwork for signing up to join along with the Tournament entry form and monies to cover both, fees are explained below.
Hope to see some new members this year.
The club dues are $50.00 per member for the year. Each Tournament the entry fee is $100.00 per boat. There is also two optional pots that you can enter.
Big Fish pot for $20.00 per boat
5 lb club $5.00
All in for a Tournament is $125.00.
