Let this be the preliminary announcement for what will be an awesome event next weekend 5/16 at , cohosted by my good friend Bunny of ! I’m going to be reluctantly cracking open the bottle of Da Bomb’s The Final Answer for those brave enough, gonna be some great pastries, cookies, and other special goodies from Bunny, grab some food from our neighbor , and you’re going to need something from to erase the sting. I’ll have sales and deals and contests and whatever I feel like doing. From 4pm until last man (or woman or person) standing, to borrow a great tag line from my friends at the LCMC.

I will of course be playing all the music, the only person I’ll take requests from is .

Great seeing my brother and his lovely wife (and great sister in law) at the shop! I’m the son that has , he’s the son that is Dr. Berger, optometrist. His practice is at 6677 W. Thunderbird Rd in Glendale, schedule an appointment at 602-978-1199, ask to schedule an appointment with him, mention me, and he’ll take amazing care of you. Maddie is also an incredible optometrist but I’m hoping for a referral fee if I send enough patients his way. They picked up some of the greats, including .hotsauce, , a lot of , and of course…a few bottles of !
In addition, and myself will be slinging sauce and seasoning tomorrow night at Melrose First Fridays from 6-10pm at , a wonderful spot owned by my longtime friend Jeremiah from , will be great to catch up with him and meet some new folks! Official post tomorrow for that!

, shop legend, heat scorcher madman, and the guy who coined the term “The Portal” to describe stopped by to enjoy the latest iteration of my constantly evolving and tinkering of the sampling process of the best hot sauce from around the country (curated by me of course, Arizona’s Hottest Sommelier). He left with a few bottles including a bottle of Abyss from , a bottle of Blood Orange Agave from , and a jar of Batch 12 of to complete the haul. It was an honor to sign a copy of the New Times article for him. Love you very much my bro!

Just brought a new line to the shop, ! They hit me up a few months ago and last week I had the space/budget to bring it in. I’m very selective on what I bring in and I’m glad I did. They’re from Chicago, have four awesome flavors (smoked jalapeno, mango habanero, Caribbean jerk, and a smoky/sweet BBQ). I tried them earlier today, the “Smoking Guns” jalapeno is my personal favorite on initial tasting, the rest fit perfectly in adding variety to three of the tasting phases (fruit, green, smoky). Cameo from our friends at and .

I’ll be repping slinging sauce and seasoning at this awesome Lost Dutch Queen Creek Chapter Poker Run! I don’t ride motorcycles anymore because I was *too* good at it but this is a great and fun way to support a club that has had longevity and respect for DECADES (I still know some of the fellas from my stint in the MC world), plus they have an extremely cool patch. will be holding down the fort at the shop. Hope to see some familiar smiling faces and meet new people. You don’t have to be part of club to enjoy this event, so there’s no excuse to enjoy a beautiful weekend on two (or four).

An absolute pleasure to see my friend from , which is a locally produced non carbonated canned cocktail (currently available in lemon sidecar and strawberry margarita flavors). If you want a box to try, pick it up next door at Virginia Liquor! Very proud of Paul and his business partner to recently get their product in .

*ALSO*, I did not know about his UCLA/NY Giants running back career, and he happened to have a rookie card in the car that is now in the holiest sports card section. He came in for pro seasoning and I got some awesome stuff for the shop. Cheers my dude!
