When I was a teenager I was a bit wild, too independent my mother would say now. Nothing original really, but still I was a little hard to keep track of so my mother started taking me to work with her at the florist shop at 14. I made a million bows, cleaned flowers and was eventually taught how to make corsages and small arrangements. I often look back with amazement that flowers have never really left my work since. Over the years they’ve moved from the sketch book and canvases to 3d form of paper or plaster but my true love will always be playing with the original.
I had the pleasure to adorn for the holidays in delicate snowy white paper flowers and a huge eucalyptus wreath. Thankful for this work and community that supports me. ❤️ Shop small, support your local makers we so appreciate every connection.
