🔨 Ever Wonder What a Custom Woodworking Shop Looks Like Behind the Scenes?
Hi, I'm Scott Anderson, owner of 5th Degree Woodworking, and I thought I'd give you a peek inside the shop where ideas become custom creations.
Woodworking has been a passion of mine for more than 25 years. Over time, my shop has evolved right alongside my projects. Every upgrade has been intentional—from creating dedicated storage for specialty woods and live-edge slabs to designing a quieter workspace that allows me to work late into the night without disturbing the neighbors.
One thing you'll notice is that everything has a purpose. My equipment is designed to be flexible, with machines on wheels so they can be moved where they're needed. Every machine has its own dedicated electrical circuit, helping keep projects running smoothly and efficiently. Even the storage loft was carefully planned to organize materials, supplies, and the unique pieces of wood that eventually become one-of-a-kind furniture and custom projects.
When you work with 5th Degree Woodworking, you're not just buying a finished piece. You're getting decades of experience, craftsmanship, problem-solving, and a shop built specifically to create quality work.
This is where the magic happens.
Stay tuned for more behind-the-scenes looks at the projects, tools, techniques, and craftsmanship that go into every custom piece we create.
