Airy neighborhood, we offer materials, education, and community to encourage curiosity for fiber craft: weaving, crochet, knitting, felting, spinning, dyeing, knotting, stitching, fleece processing, and more! We believe that the wellbeing of our fiber community — including the people, land, and animals that create the supplies we sell — is more important than anything else. With that in mind, we carefully select the supplies we carry and promote.

We're OPEN 11-6 today and received LOTS of new yarns this week! We're working on getting everything up in the web shop and there's more on the way from early June including a big Qing Fibre restock, NEW Farmer's Daughter Fibers yarns and wool wash, Little Fiber Co. fiber restock and NEW yarn ... so much fun stuff!

We SOLD OUT of the black Wild Hand totes (with more on the way later this summer) and have a handful of the off-white totes still in stock.

Lots of fiber rolling into the shop these days including hand-dyed polwrath from the one and only Karida from , hand-dyed Honeybun Batts and SUR braids from our dear friend . We have a few more surprises on the way too. Keep an eye out for our workshop schedule (and some spinning classes!) in the next week or two.

Honeybun batts are restocked in our favorite colorways from . These batts are hand-dyed then carded and put up in a pretty rolled batt. Honeybun is made from 70% BFL (Blue Faced Leicester) and 30% Mohair These cuties are oh-so-super-fluffy, soft, dreamy, and airy. Each batt is 50g and works beautifully for hand spinning yarn or adding fiber to your woven wall hangings. These batts are a dream to work with!

Brassard 8/2 100% Unmercerized Cotton is back-in-stock! Well known for being soft, absorbent, and having a matte finish, making it a favorite for weaving items like dishtowels, placemats, and baby blankets, among many other things! This lovely 8/2 cotton comes in oh-so-many colors of 1/2 lb. cones (1680 yards). 8/2 works well for warp or weft, and is an especially good weight weft yarn for tabby ground weave structures, including overshot.

We are so very excited to be a new schacht_spindle_company dealer and offer more weaving tools and equipment to this community!! You can now shop floor looms at Wild Hand (and more schacht wheels and smaller looms coming later this month to the web shop). Located at the base of the Rocky Mountains in Boulder, Colorado, Schacht Spindle Company has been dedicated to making the finest handmade spinning and weaving equipment since they began over 50 years ago.
