What would it look like if each follower gave a dollar? What if each gave $10? This summer it would mean more than most.
Every year we get a little emotional as is getting ready to head home for the rest of the season, and this year comes with an extra layer of sadness as endures its end of season closure under a dark shadow of theft.
This past month, Greensgrow was the victim of a counterfeit check scheme that leaves us struggling to keep our doors open through July. Although, we typically close in the start of August, this season we are working with bankers and law enforcement to try to recoup $33,000 in lost revenue. Fear not, as heads to the farm for the rest of the season, we will be working on fundraising efforts and bringing some fun new opportunities to support your favorite urban farm. We hope you will consider giving to Philadelphia’s favorite urban farm — and favorite city pig.
