let’s talk about the peace dollar 🕊️

created in the aftermath of WWI, the peace dollar was designed to symbolize a hopeful new era of peace. lady liberty is featured on the front with flowing hair and a radiant crown, while the reverse showcases a bald eagle at rest, a departure from the more aggressive eagle designs seen on earlier U.S. coins.
minted from 1921–1935 and struck in 90% silver, it’s one of the most iconic silver dollars ever produced and a staple here in our shop.
