Color, imagination, and craftsmanship all carved into one ✨🦎🦊🐇
These vibrant wooden sculptures are handcrafted in Mexico by one of our longtime favorite artists, Armando Jimenez. Full of personality and incredible detail, each alebrije-inspired animal is carefully carved and painted by hand in brilliant colors and bold patterns.
Every piece feels completely alive — playful, expressive, and unmistakably the work of a true artist 🎨

Colorful, vibrant, and almost too beautiful to use 💌✨
These handmade papers from Nepal are works of art all on their own — perfect for wrapping gifts, framing, crafting, scrapbooking, or adding a little extra beauty to everyday moments. Each sheet is handmade in Kathmandu by small-scale cottage industries and women’s cooperatives using the bark of the Daphne plant, locally known as Lokta, which grows high in the mountains of Nepal.
Sustainable, eco-friendly, and completely unique 🌿

Hand-carved with generations of tradition and storytelling 🖤
These beautiful Peruvian gourds hold a very special place in Julia’s heart. After serving in the Peace Corps, Julia and Isaiah spent an extra year living in Cochas Chico in Peru’s Mantaro Valley, where they learned, worked, and shared life with the incredibly talented Indigenous artists of the region. Inspired by the detailed craftsmanship and rich storytelling of the local gourd carvers, they immersed themselves in the art form and carried that love home with them.
Every carved gourd in our shop is a reminder of the connections, creativity, and cultural exchange that have shaped our store from the very beginning ✨
