The ethos of this shop is built and run based on my ethics as a minority, a woman, a citizen, and an American. While we can’t do everything - no one can - we can do this. A couple of weeks ago, came to the shop to do a little photoshoot of me and my girls. I didn’t know at the time that I’d have to close, though I’ve felt it for many months.

I don’t have any formal photos of the space, or me inside for that matter, so now more than ever I am so grateful that we did this. You do not need a special occasion to get photos taken!

Matt, words cannot express how grateful and thankful I am to have met you and Mary and been able to host Pawtrait in this space. I am blown away by these, and will cherish them forever.

In honor of the closing of this chapter, in honor of our wonderful customers and their pets, and in honor of love, we will be hosting one more portrait pop-up on our last day, Valentine’s Day. More details to come, but they’ll look a lot like these 🥹.

Beginning Monday, January 5 🕯️ we will be changing our schedule to be open Thursday - Sunday for the time being. We’re also adding an hour to most of those days to give folks a larger time frame to shop.

This was a delicate decision to make and I know these changes may impact some of our customers so I’ll be following up with a short video with more information for those interested.

As many of you know, I operate this business on my own and am candid about what we’re navigating so please know you can always come in and chat with me.

Ultimately, I hope this change allows us to continue serving our incredible neighbors and thrive well into the future.
