Each year I host a Haile Selassie and other Poasitive Ancestors Family Fun Day at Malcolm X Park in Philadelphia. We provide vendors, food, a DJ, cultural items and children-centered spaces. We hope to continue to preserve our cultural traditions with community support.

Please support my "Donations to Jamaica Fundraiser". As many of you know, each year I collect several barrels worth of donations here in the states to send back home to Jamaica. I have been doing this service to our communities for over 30 years and have received so much gratitude from those who receive the items. However, now I am seeking financial support from my community to help me send the barrels this year.

Due to recent heavy rains, we are shipping barrels of donations (i.e. clothings, household items, toiletries, food, etc.) to Jamaica. We know how our African-diasporic communities have been devastated by Capitalism, Imperialism and other Systems of Oppression, so we are trying to do what we can as grassroots activists to alleviate the impact of these forces through sending the necessary resources back to our island.
