My father, Matthew Voore Sr.—who served as president of the Pharr Plantation Homeowners Association (PHOA) before his murder—discovered and reported to the FBI a money-laundering operation, drug trafficking activities, and the existence of a corrupt Masonic circle that was deliberately driving the community and its infrastructure to ruin to further the group's own interests. That same corrupt Masonic circle still controls the Plantation today, obstructing improvements for the senior community and keeping it at a standstill. The Masonic group hides behind its neighborhood watch program—intended to shield its criminal activities—as well as behind numerous elected board members, who rarely stay long once they discover the accounting chaos. Regrettably, there are indications that the FBI is colluding with the Masons to conceal the truth and neutralize anyone who challenges their grip on the community.
