Kimberly Tyson Cook - CEO
Kimberly Cook is an award winning business reporter who worked for 20 years for the Austin American-Statesman in Austin, Texas. In 1999 she left the paper to take over Track Trading Co. She initially handled its Exaco US
A division, which distributes a European-designed paint mixing blades used in drills, and continued to head operations as the company expanded its Exaco Trading division to import greenhouses, and other "green" and garden-related products from Europe. Andrew Cook - Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Exaco Trading Co., a native Dutchman, he has extensive experience in the import business. He started Track Trading in 1988. He has imported and distributed numerous outdoor related products, and in 1990 founded De Van Koek, a wholesale distributor of a broad line of gardening tools and accessories, primarily for independent garden centers. By the time Cook sold the garden accessories operations of the business in 1999, it had grown to over 1,000 SKUs and 2,500 customers. He first started Exaco Trading in 2001 to represent 6 foreign factories (including Edelman, Holland; Bulldog Tools, England; The Nuttery, England; and Systems Trading, Israel). He then worked full time for Systems Trading, handling all its sales and marketing in the USA. During this his sales programs generated over $9 million in new revenue.
