These “kids” make me so proud 🥹
Judah (17) is exceptional at quality control. He goes above and beyond at every detail. Always polite and sweet 💜 His favorite song is “The Old Rugged Cross”. He’s 1/2 boxers. Always making sure the final product is looking sharp, weighed, and organized! He’s also good at trimming the fillet or portions perfectly. He’s always positive and never complains even after hours of hard work. He’s also great at sealing bag after bag of delicious and racking out tray after tray of the finest in
Chance (19) our knife expert!! He’s kept our knives sharp and our line flowing. He’s versatile and brings a lot of energy to our team. Always passionate and ready to whip out the fastest cuts. Our production counted on his drive. So thankful for his multi-skill level: everything from running the tractor, H&G, splitting fish, trimming, to even bagging and sealing the bags. We can also count on him to play the best in country tunes for us.
Westin (19) is one of our “beach boys”. He fishes and helps bring the finest to the processing plant. He’s mechanical and has a strong love of guns, trucks, four-wheelers, and catching . Lately he’s been helping around the processor. It’s nice having the extra help and we always look forward to it while hearing of the wild and exciting beach life. They beach boys live at the set net sites in cabins so they are always ready to fish. So we see them sporadically.
Xander (18) is our most experienced guy. With two seasons up here now. He knows all of the various jobs and is always jumping in where we need him. He’s better at trimming than me and his fillets are golden. He’s always educating himself by listening to podcasts while cutting fish. So thankful for his hard work and drive to go above and beyond.
Ruby (12) is Ruby 🥰 What a special young lady! She fishes with the beach boys and her Dad. She can pick fish, make delicious sourdough bread, run after her young siblings, and kills it in the processor! She’s funny, smart, and a go getter. She usually bags the but recently she’s been trimming which she’s great at! And she’s even tried head and gutting.
