Did you know? The name "Dracaena" comes from the ancient Greek word for "female dragon" (drakaina), thanks to the red, dragon-blood-like resin found in some varieties. Not only are they legendary, but they are also absolute superheroes at purifying the air! NASA even included them in their famous Clean Air Study because they are fantastic at zapping indoor toxins like formaldehyde and benzene from the air you breathe.

Big news! After almost 9 years at the helm of your neighborhood plant shop, I'm passing Flourish on to new ownership.

This store started in 2017 with a simple belief - that a little green makes everything better - and it grew into something special because of all of you. Thank you for every plant rescue mission, every "what's wrong with my monstera" visit, every time you stopped by just to browse.

I'm so grateful to have found a new owner who shares my vision and is ready to carry it forward. And the team you know and love? Still here, still ready to help you keep your plants thriving.
