✨ From Wedding Dress to Family Heirloom ✨

Some dresses are simply too beautiful to spend their lives tucked away in a closet.

This breathtaking memory quilt was created from the bride’s wedding dress and the dress her mother wore on her daughter’s wedding day. Together, these fabrics hold so many cherished memories, and now those memories can be wrapped up and enjoyed for years to come.

As this couple approaches their 15th wedding anniversary in July, what a special way to celebrate the love and memories they’ve built together. I carefully incorporated the stunning details from both dresses, hand-stitching many of the lace and beaded appliqués throughout the quilt to preserve their beauty.

This wedding dress was truly a stunner and deserved so much more than being stored away. Now its elegance can continue to be seen, admired, and shared with future generations.

Creating keepsakes like this is one of my favorite parts of what I do—taking treasured pieces of a family’s story and turning them into something that can be loved for years to come. 🤍

Thank you Alaina, for allowing me to be a small part of preserving these precious memories. It was an honor to create this quilt from such beautiful and sentimental dresses, and I hope it will be cherished for generations to come. 🤍

Busy behind the scenes over here 🧵✨

I’ve been hard at work finishing up custom orders and stocking up products for my next event season! Thank you all so much for keeping me busy and supporting my small business ❤️

I’ll be taking a short break from vendor events during June and July to focus on restocking inventory and catching up on customs so I can come back refreshed and ready for fall events.

I absolutely love how all of the bright colors and designs came together in this quilt. Each shirt tells part of the story, and now those memories can be wrapped up and enjoyed for years to come.

Happy Mother’s Day to one of the biggest blessings in my life—my mom. 💐

No matter what season of life or business I’m in, she’s always there when I need her. From encouraging me when I doubt myself, to jumping in and helping however she can, her love and support have meant more than words can say.

Stitch Your Heart Out wouldn’t be the same without the strong women who helped shape me, and I’m so thankful to have a mom who believes in me, cheers me on, and reminds me to keep going—even on the hard days.

Today I’m celebrating her and all of the amazing moms out there. Happy Mother’s Day! 💗

We hope you’re ready for the Largest Mayfest Craft Fair Ever!

Our craft fair will surround the courthouse square and extend down South Main, South Jackson, and the outskirts of East St. Joseph—there is so much to see!

You’ll find a wide variety of vendors offering bakery items, homemade candy, syrups, pottery, 3D art, lotions, candles, toys, wood crafts, clothing, t-shirts, purses, totes, sewn goods, floral décor, home décor, handmade jewelry, paintings, pet items, hats, and so much more. There truly is something for everyone!

🧵 Baby Blankets

There are some projects that mean just a little bit more 💛

I recently had the absolute honor of finishing two beautiful baby quilts that were lovingly started by a grandmother. She had already pieced them together, pouring her time and heart into each one—but they were never fully completed.

Being trusted to finish what she began so these blankets can be cherished and passed down through the family… that’s something I don’t take lightly.

Now these quilts are ready to wrap up the next generation in love, just as they were always meant to 💕
