Here’s a belt I just finished up. The outer layer is 8-9oz Hermann Oak vegtan leather, inner layer is 4-5oz Hermann Oak vegtan leather. I tooled the outer layer with small basket weave stamp from Tandy leather. Sealed the belt with Fiebings Tan Kote and antiqued the belt. I wish I would have gave it two coats of Tan Kote as the antique made the belt darker than I really wanted it to be. The tip of the belt, I tooled what doesn’t clearly show, (but I’m working on it) the empty tomb! The first picture is just after I oiled the belt and was my target color! Then I antiqued it, so you can see how much darker it ended up. This one’s mine, anyway, I like it!

Little trial and error with this nice leather bag. I used 4-5 oz oil tanned leather. Doubled up the leather to create a nice smooth shoulder strap. I’d say it’s a medium weight bag. It also has an inside pocket with snap and an outside pocket. This leather has a nice pull up effect and feels and smells nice!
