About Us
Book Rack Literacy Foundation is the non-profit arm of Book Rack Used Books. Approved to be a nonprofit on March 6, 2019, its purpose is to better facilitate the thousands of books we donate to various groups and organizations throughout the year.
We are passionate about cultivating the love of reading for a lifetime by connecting children with books. Some of the many ways we do this is providing books for Little Free Libraries, as well as putting up our own Little Free Libraries. We are also aggressively working towards purchasing new and gently used books for Peoria Public Schools District 150’s classrooms. We recognize that teachers must spend so much of their hard-earned money to stock their classrooms with great reading material. We are dedicated to helping ease their burden by raising funds to purchase these books for them.
