The date for the potluck is set for Sept. 11th. It will be from noon to 5:00. We have reserved the Grandview Dr Shelter. It is just at the bottom of Grandviiew Dr., near Route 29. You can get there off Rt 29 or by coming down Grandview Dr. Bring your favorite potluck item and your drinks. Sorry, no alcohol, since it is a park district facility no alcohol is allowed. We will provide plates, napkins, plastic silverware and fried chicken. To cover the cost of those, and the rental fee on the shelter, we are asking for a donation of $5.00 per person.

I need to know who is coming so we get enough chicken for everyone, so please let me know if you are coming.

Hello Everyone,

We have been talking about having a K's Potluck instead of the Christmas Dinner this year. We think September 11th (Sunday) could work. Everyone could bring their favorite potluck items (Mary Kascak that means rice pudding) and we could purchase fried chicken for a main dish. I would need to reserve a park shelter, but need to know about how many people would be interested in coming. This number would determine which shelter would be large enough for us. With the shelter rental fee, plates, plastic ware and the purchased chicken, we are thinking we may need to ask people to pay $5 a person. I want to get all the info out there, so people have all the information to make their decisions. Please let me know soon who would be interested, I don't know how quickly the shelters get reserved.

K's Merchandise Christmas Dinner 2014

Patty Cotta made a reservation at Alexander's Steakhouse for Sunday December 14th at 5:30 for a K's Christmas dinner. We skipped last year so we are hoping to see lots of you this year. If you would like to attend, just send her a private message and she will add you to the list. We need to know by Dec 5th, so we can give them a final number of people for the reservation.

Happy Day Before Thanksgiving!

How many of us are happy not to have to dread the day after Thanksgiving anymore? ME for one! Just another reminder about the dinner at Alexander's Steakhouse on Sunday December 11th at 5:30. We now have 40 people signed up and as always, the more the merrier! Let me hear from you last minute planners.....Larry Verner......Terry Wisslead.....and the rest of you who know who you are! We would love to see all of you.

Remember too that we are having a gift exchange for those who wish to participate. Bring a gift ($20 limit) and take a gift home. We will be calling to confirm the reservation the first week of December, so send me a note before then so we can add you to the list. Hope to see you there.
