Mike has been a motorcycle enthusiast for as long as he can remember. His first bike was a 1974 Yamaha Enduro 80 which he couldn’t even ride. He gave his parents a hard time about this his whole life, and still talks about his first bike that he doesn’t even think was his. His parents realized shortly after this that his love for motorcycles was never going to go away. They purchased him an early

80’s Yamaha PW50 which started his passion for motorcycles. As time went on and he graduated to bigger and more powerful bikes, his love grew even deeper. He started his career working in the motorcycle industry selling bikes. He loved matching customers to their perfect bike. The one thing that he always disliked about sportbikes straight from the factory was their unflattering license plate bracket. He couldn’t handle the fact that the manufactureres came out with these amazing beautiful sportbikes and put these huge whale tails hanging off the back of the bike. Mike has always loved designing and making things. In 2018, he was searching the web for a new tail tidy/ fender eliminator kit for his motorcycle and could not find anything that he really liked. That was the day that 2 Wheels Ave was born in his head. He designed and produced a tail tidy for his bike at the time. He happened to make a couple phone calls to some well known motorcycle shops around the nation. He was searching for a particular connector to go along with his newly designed tail tidy. The gentleman on the phone asked if he could ask him why he needed it. He was very hesitant to tell him why because he felt that they would be very popular and a lot of people may want to buy them. He did not want to share his idea, but after talking with the guy for awhile he showed him what he designed and made. The gentleman on the phone then asked if he would be interested in working with him on different projects like this and Mike responded yes absolutely. He began selling tail tidies to them for their business which were branded as their own and had some of their own ideas in the designs. Mike did this for almost 5 years before finally making the decision to sell his own tail tidies with his own designs and ideas. Mike has put his heart and soul into his business and hopes that you all will enjoy and love the look of our tail tidies on your motorcycle.
