We had a custom request for a journal with lines, soft cover and waterproof (for those inevitable spills that happen when you keep a book or notebook for a long time). This absolutely gorgeous notebook is the result. Hand-sewn binding so it lays flat, like all our journals, and the pages just seem to fall open. The pages are French Papers’ recycled Speckletone, a beautiful crisp white with flecks of character speckled lightly across the silky smooth pages. The cover is hand marbled cotton rag paper from Mulberry Paper and More, bright colors and metallic sheen making it pop and it is flexible while still holding its shape. We treated the cover with a water based sealant and while it is not waterproof, it is water resistant. We added a nice surprise with a new addition to our journals - a small pocket on the inside cover. All of our journals won’t necessarily have this but it’s definitely now something we can customize!
