Small business spotlight:

If you're a foodie like we are, please stop by the Gourmet Sate House at 650 E. 9 Mile Rd in Pensacola. It's styled after Indonesian street food and oh my goodness! The flavors, the affordable prices and portions were fantastic and the service was top notch. My waitress and was an absolute doll and was very well informed about the menu and explaining each section. I personally had the chicken and meat combo. 3 magical skewers EACH of chicken and beef nestled on top of crunchy cabbage. Accented with peanut Sauce and another that was tangy and yummy. The fried rice was filling but the best part was the bowl of chicken soup. Wowza! Layers of vermicelli noodles, chicken, cabbage and a rich, lightly spicy broth that rivals a good bowl of pho any day. Stop by, support local small businesses and tell Sam Lisa sent you!
