Many people ask how so many of IBBeads clients are able to wear their strands comfortably for a year or longer.

The answer is technique, experience, patience, and care.

It has taken me years to truly understand the art of not only creating waist-beads, but also properly tying and wearing them for long-term wear.

My tying methods were developed and refined over years of practice to provide secure, long-lasting wear while still honoring the intentional nature of traditional waist-beads. That level of skill did not happen overnight, and skill is not free.

Tying also takes time. Every additional strand tied during an event requires focused attention and care, and that time directly impacts how many people I’m able to serve throughout the day.

IBBeads is not simply a transaction-based business. I provide an intentional, intimate adornment service rooted in craftsmanship, patience, and experience. Every strand is tied with care, precision, and respect for the person wearing it.
