Morning all! Let's hope for several nice long rain showers over the next few days, we need it! I apologize for not posting an update lately, it's been pot up, water, w**d, repeat all day every day lol. There's always something new I'm splitting or potting even if I haven't announced it here before making it.

There's still lots of strawberries, ozark flamingo and Sequoia are gone but lots of allstar, 6 to 12 or so of eversweet, Chandler, Seascape, white carolina, and whatever else I'm forgetting that I announced way back in like November.

I thought I'd just share photos of the bearded iris I took while they were blooming. I'll leave them available for several weeks yet. Although pretty much done blooming they are nice established multi rhizome plants now and many of them found homes in your garden. I will be splitting them come end of summer.

There's still some gladiolus bulbs left, only because I had to pause for my final eye surgery recently, but ill get to them soon and delete those listings so please message me, they're OK to plant this late yet.

It will soon be lily time, I have a handful of dwarves not listed, when I only have 3 or 4 of something I may not bother creating a listing.....lots of assorted, two types of double petal, robena tree lily and probably some others.....martagon henryi......

Lots of hosta yet! Also some not listed, rarer ones like praying hands, tears in heaven, can't remember the other one I'm trying to think of.

I have not had the time to grow out a major assortment of sunflowers like I have in the past, but there's one tray of a silver leaf variety out there.

Oh and I got my hands on wisteria frutescens this year, which reminds me that I need to list those. Plus the wisteria chinensis are already listed and leafed out nicely.

Luna hardy hibiscus are available by variety now. I was down to just last year's overwintered assortment but I have good numbers on pink swirl, white and red. Rose once again got mixed up in an assorted tray this year. Always an oopsy it seems lol.

Evening everyone! I hope all the mommies out there had a lovely mother's day!

I have been a busy busy bee the last couple days. Actually, when aren't I lol?

Big list of new items coming shortly, but quick note about peonies I am still offering bare root style at this point. I talked about getting away from keeping certain items potted going forward and peonies are one. Tulips and daffodils I left available as bulbs until I finally potted some in February or so. Well, leaving it in the ground to dig per order seems to work well! Although I had some peony orders earlier in the year which was perfect, I actually got an order for some today. A small amount of fine roots were disturbed in the process, but as is the case with many things my biggest sales push for that item is the month folks see it in the landscape flowering. It's my belief that digging them this late and replacing gives a good chance of even leaving the flower buds undisturbed. So, I will likely continue to leave the peony listings active. Can't wait to see the 2 bomb types!

Iris have been steadily budding and blooming. Most of the dwarves are winding down now but the intermediate and tall are just kicking in. Plenty of selection yet so check out my iris listings if you haven't yet.

Back to back announcements, yep! It's busy season!

First photo, more dwarf bearded iris opening daily, that is "going in circles".

Hollyhock majorette double pink coming on soon. I think this would pair very nicely with one of the spotlight blacknight I have (very limited now). I like that pink and black color combo!

Also ready soon but I will literally only have 2 pots available: great Burnet. Sometimes once I get a clump of something going I can really turn out some nice quantities (I made a whe tray of maximillian sunflower today from a very very full mother plant pot). So, page announcements are a great way to put in a request for a limited item or an item offered for only a short time (loose bulbs) etc. Here's a little info about great burnet:

Sanguisorba officinalis (Great Burnet) is a hardy, clump-forming perennial, native to cool regions of the Northern Hemisphere. Known for deep red, bottle-brush-like flowers on tall, 3-foot stems, it blooms from summer to autumn. It prefers moist, well-drained soil in full sun and is prized for both ornamental, pollinator-friendly gardens and culinary use.

Good morning! Very warm today, I'm enjoying the weather this week, but watch out for Monday night. I put a halt on unpacking the main Greenhouse until after that.

Got ahold of some double petal lilies and ........tree lily! The double petal lilies were very popular last year since happy to say I will have some within the next few weeks. And absolutely everyone who sees my tree lilies in my yard wants some so at least one type coming soon.

Also, frizzle sizzle/butterfly glad mix coming soon.

Recently relisted assorted sweet william and I have a few other pretty dianthus just need to find a moment to list them.

Scoop scabiosa. All of you nay sayers to annuals scroll on lol.....these are very hard to get and highly prized in the cut flower world. They also make lovely dried flowers. These are always hard to get and I had a crop failure last year but fingers crossed for this year and keep an eye on my marketplace additions.

Bulbs and dahlia tubers I potted previously going in pots or the ground soon so let me know quickly please! Amaryllis alasca, pineapple lily, calla lily.

Oh and I have some potted dahlia fresco mix I need to list too, those are shorter more compact guys that don't need staking.

Good morning fellow gardeners! My main announcement is that I will be attending the hamburg plant and pet show on May 2nd. Mark your calenders! I don't do many markets anymore, but I've found a healthy interest in items that do well for fish tanks, frog enclosures, reptile tanks etc. Therefore I am including a few recent photos of terrarium plants. I will also bring some of my many beautiful begonias and other just pretty plants that are popular.

Bearded iris will be listed soon, possibly today. Working on a crop of variegated leaf bearded iris.

Just listed some hot lips salvia. Not hardy to our zone, but it will thrive, get large in one season, bloom bountiful right up to first very hard frost here. Very attractive to pollinators!

A few bonsai enthusiasts have found me recently. That is the main reason I brought in the Japanese black pine trees as well as a few others, plus I have guava, dregei begonias, caudex plectanthrus, ant plant, mimosa tree starts and some other fun things for bonsai.

Beautiful weather now, let's get to playing in the dirt!

These compact, fragrant plants bloom from spring through fall, making them ideal for gardens, containers, and landscape use.

A little reminder on what's hardy in PA: English lavender yes. French lavender some. Spanish lavender no.

I will be specifying which type when I make each individual listing.

Hope you are all having a good weekend so far! A few more announcements for ya.

Just made trays of Virginia blue bells and spotted bellflower. Ready in 2 weeks ish.

First 3 photos- filipendula. A new one for me. Tall back of the bed perennial. Will be an assortment (mix) of red umbrellas, rubra venusta and ulmaria plena.
Here's some info:

Filipendula, commonly known as meadowsweet, is a genus of herbaceous perennials in the rose family, prized for their attractive, fern-like foliage and frothy clusters of fragrant flowers in white, pink, or cream. They thrive in moist to wet soils, often found in meadows, along streams, and in woodland edges, and are used in gardens for borders, naturalized areas, and pond margins. Key species include F. ulmaria (Queen of the Meadow) and F. rubra (Queen of the Prairie).
Key Characteristics
Appearance: Upright, clump-forming plants with deeply lobed, maple-like leaves. Flowers appear in large, airy panicles or cymes.
