Pay the state for a hunting license, pay the state taxes on all your fishing equipment, pay the state taxes to register your boat, pay the state taxes for the gas to haul the boat and put in the boat, and then somehow you get treated like a criminal for just recreational fishing. I’m all for conservation but at a certain point the government has way too much power over our lives. The fact they can just pull up and harass you, search you without any probable cause of a crime being committed, is a huge violation of the 4th Amendment. I’m starting to think some Americans like having their rights violated.
