After several months of deliberation, we have decided to close Keuka Creations at the end of this month. The closing has nothing to do with the wonderful support the community has shown us and everything to do with limited time that we have available to focus on properly running the gallery.
When we opened in 2012, we believed in this concept and we believed in the local artists it spotlighted. We still do. We endeavored to showcase the many talented artists in this area and we believe that we have succeeded in that regard. We have worked with some wonderful people and had the help of a great group of staff. For that we are very grateful.
The good news is that we have found a great local business to fill our storefront. We are happy to announce that the Finger Lakes Museum will be moving into the storefront. In addition to their offices they will operate a gift shop and a visitor center of sorts where they will have small displays of their Discovery Center and other exhibits. We believe it will be a good addition for downtown.
We will be running sales for the rest of the month to help us move the remaining inventory. This week we will offer 20% off everything in the store. You have to get in soon to take advantage of the specials as items are quickly moving. Thank you again for your support and we look forward to seeing you soon!
