When your God Daughter wants to go hunting, you take her hunting. At 10 years old and standing at a 4’ tall she’s a force to be reckoned with.

We spotted a few hogs and stalked in to 65 yards. Set up a set of shooting sticks, since the rifle is as big as her and waited for the perfect shot. I told Eden to take her time. Focus on the hogs head. She was nervous but when I told her to squeeze the trigger she made a perfect shot.

Eden!? Where did you shoot her??? “Right in the pumpkin!” 🎃

The Ol Georgia Double….

In SW Ga the rut is typically later than the rest of the state. So on November 7th of 2010 these two bucks were still traveling together in a Bachelor group, so I was kind enough to make sure they stayed together when I brought them home.

Missouri 2009

My first trip to the mid west. After hunting out there I was hooked on big mature whitetails. This experience changed how I looked at hunting them and the deer I wanted to harvest. The thirst for a buck that was bigger and more mature was all I could think about, the hunt continues.

Georgia 2021

Days like this are far and few between. Chelsea was able to kill her first deer with a bow, a stud on top of it. 30 mins after she shot hers I was able to connect with an old buck I was after for 3 months. And to top it off it was on my birthday. What a day!
