Today was such a special day for us 🌷

First, we want to thank the previous owners of Pella Paperie for creating a space that so many people already know and love. The heart behind this shop is something truly special, and we feel incredibly honored to continue its story.

And to everyone who stopped in, sent kind messages, shared our post, shopped local, or simply welcomed us with open arms on our very first day… thank you. Truly. Your support meant more than you know.

We’re so excited for what’s ahead while continuing everything that makes Pella Paperie feel like home: creativity, connection, beautiful details, thoughtful gifts, and a place that brings people together.

We can’t wait to keep serving this amazing community.

⭐Pella Paperie will reopen on Wednesday, May 13th, with normal business hours and the beginning of a fresh chapter ⭐

The new owners will be in the shop on Wednesday, so feel free to stop by, say hello, and meet the faces who are continuing the story of Pella Paperie.

When life gives you bigger opportunities it’s silly not to take them. That being said...
As of Wednesday, Pella Paperie is officially SOLD!
I was going to work Monday and Tuesday but instead I thought it better to use that time to transition the store to the new owner.
This also means, as of Wednesday, I no longer have to be the polished, patient version of me constantly biting my tongue.
And yes...that was the nice version. 🤪
Pella Paperie gave my kids four years of hands-on business education, lessons in work ethic, customer service, handling high pressure situations, and learning how a successful business is built. It gave Alec social skills, confidence, and real world experience. All things that no Midwest classroom could ever teach.
Thank you to everyone who supported Pella Paperie and those who understood the standards. I hope you support the new owner and her vision she has for the store. It’s been fun Pella. ✌🏼

Today while the boys were loading up stuff, a woman came in and gave them a purse that had dropped off a car out front. It’s been taken to the police department and ID was found inside I believe. If you’re missing your purse…please find it at the Pella Police Department.
