The lake offers incredible fish holding structure as well as an outstanding fish population and I have become familiar with where the fish are located at different times of the year. Note: Lake Lida has specific size regulations for walleye (17"-26" must be released) and crappie (11" and under must be released). Other lakes in the area which I fish are Pelican, Franklin and Crystal. I spend most o
f my time fishing for walleye but will also guide for smallmouth bass and panfish. Whether you are an experienced angler or have never been in a boat, I will do my best to make you feel comfortable and provide you with the instruction needed to make your experience a memorable one. About Me:
I am a teacher and cross country coach in the Pelican Rapids School District. During the school year I spend my time guiding students in the classroom in subjects such as: photography, computer drafting, woodworking, robotics and engineering principles. However, when summer approaches, I shift gears and concentrate on improving my fishing techniques. When you plan a trip with me, you will be transported to the fish holding spots in a Lund 1800 Pro V which can accommodate up to 4 anglers. The boat is equipped with some of the newest technologies available. It has two Lowrance HDS DownScan Imaging graphs and an Aqua View underwater camera on board to help you understand what is happening below the boat. Rods, reels, life jackets and tackle are provided. All you need to bring is a valid fishing license, cooler with beverage and food and appropriate clothing for the weather conditions. I will also take pictures of your catch as well as clean and package the fish for transport home.
