✨ THANKFUL ✨
For the miles traveled.
The hugs given and received.
The friendships made.
The tears shed.
The lessons learned.
The grit and tenacity I wasn’t sure I had.
The Lord’s blessings and grace.
The people who made this dream a reality.
The chance to show my kids that you can do anything with His help and hard work.
I’m thankful for Clay and Brenda.
Lucy and Lara.
Brazos, Gage and Lyndee.
And most of all, Jake.
None of this would have been possible without him. He saved me time and time and time again. He would pick me up when I was so low, I didn’t think I could carry on. He would cheer me on and push me forward on the good and bad days. He would jump in and be Mr Mom when I was gone to Market, or traveling for a show. He went above and beyond for me, in every aspect, always.
But alas, all good things come to an end.
Every door closes.
Every song ends.
Every night has a dawn.
Every good book has a final chapter, and this is mine. December 31st I will turn the final page and close the book on retail. I will turnout the lights and lock the door at MO for the final time. And while it’s incredibly bittersweet, it’s a call that’s been on my heart for quite some time. A call to be home. After 10 years of owning a boutique, first The Judge and now McKinney Outfitters for the last 5.5 years, it is time to just be MOM. The most important title I’ve ever been given. And I’m excited for the next step. I hope you will follow along on where this is leading me, .mckinney_ .
And sincerely, THANK YOU. It wouldn’t have been possible without YOU. Each and every one of you reading this, made this dream of mine a reality and I couldn’t be more grateful.
December will be a busy and crazy time, we will be running sales, hugging necks, drying tears, and preparing ourselves for the next chapter. I hope we can serve you over the next 30 days and help you prepare for Christmas. 🖤✨✨
Much Love XOXO,
Emily
