The United States Census Bureau says Pearland is the 7th fastest growing city in the United States. Texas was also home to five of the eleven fastest-growing cities. We are looking forward to great things for the Pearland area!

Georgetown, Texas, was the nation's fastest-growing city between 2014 and 2015.

Another exceptional kickoff to the Christmas season, put on by the hard-working team at Pearland Parks and Recreation and the City of Pearland - Government. Wonderful to see all of neighbors gathered together, smiling and celebrating.

It was a magical night at the Pearland Town Center. The Lighting of the Christmas tree marks the official start of the holiday season in Pearland.

The Ivy District is a proud sponsor of the Pearland International Festival, coming up on Saturday, September 19 at Independence Park from 11am until 9pm. We invite everyone to come out and join us for a day of music, food, culture and family fun! General Admission is $10 per person, with kids 12 and under admitted FREE this year. Current and former military personnel are also admitted FREE with valid ID. The Ivy District is partial sponsor of the VIP area, which will feature exclusive food and beverage tastings and premium covered seating for viewing our two performance stages. VIP tickets are on sale now for $40 per person. All proceeds from the Pearland International Festival stay right here, helping to grant scholarships to Pearland-area seniors to further their educations in the visual and performing arts. The May edition of Community Impact Pearland/Friendswood features the results of an unscientific Web survey about The Ivy District! The paper asked respondents the following: "Which aspect of the multiuse Ivy District project are you most looking forward to seeing completed?"

Responses were: High-end retail (50%), Retirement center (22%), Residential options (11%), Park/recreation amenities (11%) and Community center (6%).
