Please help us welcome April of Summerlin Stitches to Rooted in Mississippi!

April creates handmade crochet plushies that are as unique as they are adorable. From cows and ducks to mushrooms, dragons, Pokémon-inspired characters, keychains, mystery boxes, and more, there’s something here for kids and adults alike.

Our hand forged copper Mississippi trays by Redbeard's Forge are back in the store and we currently have TWO available after selling out of the last batch!

Each piece is individually hand forged from copper, meaning no two will ever be exactly alike. The texture, shape, hammer marks, and finish all make every tray one of a kind. These feature a small heart near Pearl for a subtle hometown touch.

And if you’d like the heart placed somewhere else in Mississippi, custom orders are available too! Just let us know.

These have been getting a LOT of attention in store, so if you’ve been thinking about grabbing one, don’t wait too long.

We are now open on Thursdays and Fridays from 12-5 if you can’t make it by on the weekend!

Now that school is out, are you already hearing “I’m bored” every five minutes? 😅

Here’s a fun way to get the kids off their screens for a little while and let them tap into their creativity this summer.

Week 1 of Art Camp at Rooted in Mississippi with Ashley of Art By A. Harper starts June 2 and spots are limited!

Kids ages 5–18 will get to explore watercolor & acrylic painting, drawing, clay, oil pastels, and more in a fun, creative environment led by a local visual artist and Rankin County art teacher.
