We have gotten a lot of messages and people coming in to ask, so we have a pupdate! Indy just had great news from the vet. She can officially not wear the cone of shame (but might have to if she gives her noneye too much fuss) and is on the road to recovery.

They want her to stay on the same meds as we have her on now. Theyre pricey, but they are doing a good job. Absolutely worth it to us.

Next week she will have another followup, and we are going to hit another rough patch after that weaning her off steroids to see how she is *actually* feeling, because those can hide a lot of symptoms. (And they are concerned about kidney damage if we keep her at the current dosage). But we will keep doing what we can for her! And good news with something as terrible as blasto is honestly just amazing. ❤️

The store will be closing early at 6pm on Thursday, 5/28, for my daughter's graduation! So danged proud of her! 😄

Congrats to Espen, the winner of our RCQ today! Man, we sure had a packed house, with a ton of people showing for both the tournament and commander! Thank you to everyone to who showed up today!! :D

Chaos Rising is in today! Please note we got a very limited amount of the product in, and we are still limiting packs to 5 per person.

We also got in a huuuuuge set of Pokemon singles, including some Base Set and first editions!

I also want to take a moment and thank everyone that has been supporting us with everything going on with Indy. She's hanging in there and going through the treatment like a trooper. It means the world to us, and thank you from the bottom of my heart!!

A much requested Indy update: the antifungal treatment is in full force now, she's been in a lot of pain. Her back leg is really swollen as well and she's been unable to use it much. We have been keeping a very close eye on her breathing, as they have asked us to monitor it in case she has to go back for oxygen administration. In the next two weeks she'll be going through the worst of it as the fungus starts to die off.

Unfortunately I found out that several of the other recent local cases with blasto have not made it. My heart breaks for those families, and I am determined to do what I can for Indy to give her the best shot possible.

We did set up a Gofundme for those who were asking how they can help us out with the costs, and we truly, TRULY appreciate everything everyone has been doing. Again, I am also doing 20% off all of my handmade dice to also try and help raise funds.

I’m absolutely devastated to share that Indiana has been diagnosed with blastomycosis. It's an incredibly rare fungal disease, and unfortunately Giles and Montgomery counties are seeing an unusual spike in cases.

Right now, we’re preparing for a long and expensive fight ahead, and honestly, I’m still trying to process all of it. Indiana means the world to me, and I’m going to do everything I can to help her get through this.

To help with the mounting vet bills and upcoming treatment costs, all handmade dice at Mischief’s Den will be 20% off for the time being. Every set purchased helps more than I can put into words. I’ll also be putting together a couple of fundraisers in the coming weeks for anyone who wants to help support Indiana’s recovery.

While we’ve been balancing 24/7 dog care and keeping Mischief's Den running smoothly, we received our very first one star review, and it wasn't what we expected it to be!

Not because of the Pokemon market bubble prices, not due to salt from a commander game gone wrong...

Nope. Apparently it’s because we are not a v**e shop.

We did politely point him toward the correct store, but he still seemed deeply betrayed by our shocking lack of mango ice flavored ni****ne products. Which leaves us with a mystery to solve:

What about a store full of Pokémon cards, D&D books, Warhammer, and dice made someone think “ah yes, v**e store”? (But seriously, if you know why, please tell us because we are DEEPLY confused by this)

As always though:

❌ No v**es
✅ Cool cards
✅ D&D books
✅ Warhammer 40K
✅ Enough dice to make financially irresponsible decisions

Today is Strixhaven prereleaaaaase! :D Deckbuilding starts at 6pm, don't miss out!

Also, I have gotten in some sealed Pokemon ETBs and packs from a trade-in, so that's kind of restocked, but there is not much.

The Pokémon supply is rough right now. I’m doing what I can (including trading) to get product in. But unfortunately, it’s extremely limited, and even my distributors are raising their prices, and so certain items have to stay close to market because of it.

I do want to thank everyone though who has been understanding, it’s been a ROUGH supply issue across the board, and super stressful to try and get anything in at this point.
