Did you know??

One thing I’ve learned making dessert candles is that a lot of people don’t realize candles need time to fully perform.

These aren’t plug-ins or aerosol sprays where fragrance instantly fills an entire house in 5 minutes. A candle needs time to build a full melt pool so the fragrance oil can properly disperse into the air.

For most larger candles — especially dessert-style candles with whipped tops and embeds — you should allow a burn time of around 3–4 hours for the best scent throw and performance.

The first burn is especially important because it helps establish an even melt pool across the candle. Short burns can lead to tunneling and weaker performance over time.

These Blueberry Waffle wax melts are seriously one of the most realistic things we’ve ever made. From the buttery waffle texture to the glossy blueberry topping and syrup drizzle… they look almost too good to melt.

And somehow they smell even better.
