Some of the things we hear all the time are “Ponds are dirty and smell bad.” "What about bacteria?"
The truth: A properly balanced ecosystem pond has no odor. And the idea that they’re dirty couldn’t be further from the truth.
Our ponds use aquatic plants and beneficial microorganisms as filters, producing crystal-clear water that many say feels fresher than chemically treated pools. With the right setup, they're every bit as clean as traditional pools, if not cleaner.
The green, murky, sulfur-smelling “pond” people picture is almost always an unfiltered hole in the ground. Those are not the same product.
