Every year we participate in the Bootwalk by doing a fundraiser in honor of everyone that is fighting cancer, had cancer, or has a family member with Cancer. Our goal is to spread as much awareness about all the different types of cancer not to just focus on one type because everyone fights a different battle. In the process we want to raise money to donate to our team fundraiser for the bootwalk in honor of my mom who is 10 years out from her life changing surgery that helped us create . She was diagnosed in 2015 with Laryngeal Cancer and underwent a laryngectomy in 2015. She has been cancer free for 10 years now and this year is a huge milestone for us, because it’s also year 10 with her new voice. A voice that many know her with, and a voice that gave her, her “new normal”. Everyone knows someone that has had cancer change their lives in one way or another. So share this post to spread the word, and also if you can donate or purchase to help us reach our fundraising goals.
