I have some very sad news. Pawling Cycle and Sport will be closing over the next few weeks. I can't hang on any longer without selling new bikes. It's been over a year and it may be another year before there's enough availabilty. And now with the bike companies selling internet direct the future of the bike industry is too uncertain.
PCS has been my life for 18 years and I tried my best. I hope we helped the community see the light with bicycling and I will really miss the expression on a kids face when they get their first bike.
I will never forget the passion and commitment of our race team members. There are so many awesome event and race memories that we shared together, I had to list a few: Mt Snow, Wed night group rides, The Unionvale Road Race, The Bethel Crit, Battenkill, The 909 Halloween Race, The Pawling Roubaix, The H2H series, Fahnestock, The Pawling Mountain Road Race, PCX, The Tour of Putnam, and the end of the season race team parties.
I want to thank all of our customers, racers, sponsors, employees, friends and family for supporting the shop and my dream.
Thanks for making all these years some of the best of my life.
