Took a lunch break from rodbuilding in the shop and decided I had to get some fishing in today. Decided to try the Passaic river in hopes of getting on some resident stripers. Ended up hooking up on 3 good size pike? In a matter of 20 mins. Can anyone clarify if that’s a pike or musky? The white nlbn 5 inch worked well in freshwater , well brackish water too. A good reminder that as polluted as the Passaic river is, it does hold quality freshwater species. Forgot to bring my dji action pro of course this short trip. Caught them on my striper special rod which is a good for a variety or fishing
