The beginnings of a as a sample for our upcoming beginner knitting class series with Anna of Thanks, I Made It! Creative Studio 💜

In this four-week class you’ll learn everything you need to know to jumpstart your knitting journey. Learn to knit, purl, increase, decrease, and more. And finally make your own gorgeous knit bandana - just in time for the weather to (hopefully) start cooling off in Kansas City!

The latest new arrival at The Emerald Ewe 🎀 Joan was born in late June and is doing well after her NICU stay. I will be on maternity leave until mid-August but Erin is at the store to answer all your yarny questions during our normal business hours.

If you’ve noticed our socials have been a bit quiet lately this is why! Be sure to sign up for our email newsletter though since August and September are going to be super exciting months at the shop as we introduce new classes and events.

I love love love having a wide variety of books in the store. Building a personal library of fiber resources is so satisfying. 🥰
