Attic Treasures Attic Treasures Attic Treasures' journey began about 7 years ago! Iva Thiegles had amazing sales-- with items that filled both of our homes. new!

Avid garage salers... junkers... flea market queens... thrift store groupies... and most importantly-- treasured friends-- Dawn Marie Penning and Chris Nason had a vision! After one of her sales, Chris and I left-- with dreams of beginning Attic Treasures! Iva became such a wonderful mentor in the process, helping our dream become real! We certainly couldn't have done it without her guidance! Occa

ssional sales were held in the attic of Dawn's garage. It warmed our hearts to see others excited about a rescued dresser, or a repurposed piece of furniture! We gained wonderful, faithful customers and had amazing summer and Christmas sales in this location. We then had the opportunity to share a cottage in Detroit Lakes at the Shady Hollow Flea Market. The month of July fed our passion-- junking, repurposing, treasuring old vs. We loved the market and cherished our moments there! Joan Grover then proposed that Attic Treasures join the boardwalk in Dorset, MN! She asked us to join her in her antique shoppe and we decided to take the leap! This has been a wonderful journey and it will be our third summer in Dorset! We are blessed to have another mentor on our side! We have truly enjoyed our customers and wait with anticipation for the shoppe to open in May! We have so many wonderful treasures to share with everyone--repurposed furniture, chippy mirrors, charms, one of a kind jewelry creations, gardenware and too many more treasures to mention! We cannot wait to see all of you there! We invite you to take the journey to Dorset! It is well worth it!
