When God said don’t eat from the tree of life or knowledge and that if you did you would have sinned what he meant was that the further you get away from the natural way of things, the nature that is all around us all the time, the more you feel like you not meant to be there. We are capable of amazing things and at this point we have jumped the shark, like they did back when they harnessed fire or when they combusted molecules to transfer/increase energy. Or when they found that silicone carries information. And now when we are digitizing consciousness. But all of that and everything to come is from the tree. I don’t think we have to stop progressing by any means, i think the power we are gaining is very cool and will probably lead us to some amazing things. There comes a time in any endeavor to zoom out and reassess where are you at and where you are going and what the goals are. I think we need to as a species take a breath. Get schooled up, accept what hadn’t been but was proven true and look at the reality we are facing. Things are going to start going so fast and it would be tight if we had a positive collective vision for the future. We already ate the fruit way back when and now it feels like we ate a whole bag of cherries. If we could take a second to reset and reevaluate I think we all have much more in common than we act like.
